Itinerary:
Arrival in Lima, Transfer to Your Hotel, and City Tour of Lima (Day 01)
On your first day, upon arrival at Lima’s airport, one of our representatives will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, where you can settle in and rest.
In the afternoon, your city tour of Lima will begin, taking you through key areas such as Miraflores, Barranco, and Huaca Pucllana, along with the Colonial Lima highlights including the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archiepiscopal Palace, and colonial-era archaeological monuments.
Full Day Tour Lima Ica Paracas (Day 02)
At approximately 4:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima to begin your 4-hour journey to the Ballestas Islands area. Once there, you will board boats for a tour around the islands, where you can observe marine wildlife such as sea lions, guanay birds, and Humboldt penguins. Afterward, you’ll return to the bay for some free time.
At around 11:30 AM, you’ll head towards Ica, where you’ll visit a local winery for a wine and pisco tasting.
Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore the area or enjoy lunch before starting your next adventure in buggies over the dunes of the region at 4:00 PM.
The day will end with a transfer back to Lima, where you will arrive at approximately 10:00 PM.
Transfer from Your Hotel in Lima to Jorge Chávez Airport, Arrival in Cusco, Hotel Transfer and City Tour of Cusco (Day 03)
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel 4 hours before your flight’s departure. Upon arrival at Cusco’s airport, one of our representatives will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the hotel staff who will assist you with the check-in process. Our assistant will also provide a detailed description of your itinerary along with some important considerations.
In the afternoon, be ready for your city tour of Cusco, starting at the Inca Temple of Qorikancha, considered the most important temple during the height of the Inca Empire, now occupied by the Convent of Santo Domingo.
Next, you’ll head to Sacsayhuamán, one of the closest archaeological complexes to the city, located approximately 20 minutes away. After exploring the impressive monolithic structures at Sacsayhuamán, the tour continues to Qenqo, also known as “The Labyrinth,” a mysterious site filled with enigmas. Afterward, you’ll board the van to visit Puka Pukara, or “The Red Fortress,” a military structure built during the Inca Empire. Finally, you’ll visit Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to the water cult, offering a unique view of Inca architecture to close this fascinating journey.
Sacred Valley Tour and Train Connection to Aguas Calientes (Day 04)
The day will begin around 8:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel to start the classic Sacred Valley tour. The first stop will be the traditional town, artisan market, and archaeological site of Pisaq, where you’ll spend the first part of the day. Afterward, you’ll head to the town of Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch showcasing the best of Peruvian cuisine.
The final part of the tour will be in the ancestral town of Chinchero, where you’ll have the chance to visit the fortress, which is the main archaeological site of the town.
After completing the tour, you’ll wait for your scheduled train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night at the assigned hotel.
Your guide will contact you with more information about your upcoming visit to Machu Picchu.
Visit to Machu Picchu, Return to Ollantaytambo and Transfer to Cusco (Day 05)
Following the instructions from your guide the day before, you’ll start your visit to Machu Picchu by heading to the main area of Aguas Calientes to board buses that will take you to the Sanctuary entrance. Once the necessary controls are completed, you’ll enjoy a tour of around 2.5 hours, depending on the assigned circuit.
After the visit, following your guide’s recommendations, you’ll return to Aguas Calientes to catch your scheduled train to Ollantaytambo. Once there, you’ll be picked up and transferred back to Cusco, arriving in approximately 2 hours.
Full Day Tour to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain (Day 06)
On this final adventure day, the trip to Phulawasipata, the parking area for this attraction, takes about 3 hours. However, before reaching the parking lot, you’ll make a brief stop in the town of Cusipata for a delicious breakfast.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive instructions and prepare for the hike. The trek to Vinicunca is a moderate ascent, taking about 2 hours to reach the viewpoint of the Seven-Colored Mountain.
Once at Vinicunca, you’ll have time to relax and take in the stunning landscape. Afterward, you’ll return to the parking area. The return journey will be shorter, and halfway, a delicious lunch awaits at the same restaurant where you had breakfast.
After lunch, you’ll return to Cusco, where your experience will conclude around 5:00 PM.
Transfer from Your Hotel to Cusco Airport (Day 07)
On the final day, based on your flight itinerary, we will arrange a pick-up from your hotel 2 hours and 30 minutes before your flight, concluding our scheduled services.

- Book your Package Lima Ica Machu Picchu as early as possible to guarantee your entry to Machu Picchu, as spots on the classic route are limited and highly sought after.
- Remember to book your flight to Lima so that you arrive in the morning, ensuring a smooth start to your tour without any delays on the first afternoon.
- Make sure to bring your passport and/or ID documents, as they will be required for all necessary checkpoints along the route.
- Tickets can be presented either printed or virtually.
- There is a luggage limit of 8 kilograms per person aboard the trains to Machu Picchu.
- For your visit to Machu Picchu and other attractions, wear comfortable clothing and footwear. The trek is long, but it does not require specialized equipment.
- Since Machu Picchu is located in a cloud forest region, it is necessary to use insect repellent and sunscreen.
- Depending on the time of year, don’t forget to bring warm clothing for the early morning and evening, and/or a rain jacket.
- Be sure to carry extra money for any additional entrance fees and optional services.
- Bring water and snacks to help you through the day.
- For the Rainbow Mountain trek, layered clothing is recommended. It will help you manage the constant temperature changes during the hike.
