Itinerary:

04:00-05:00: Scheduled pickups in the historic city center (you will receive a confirmation with a more precise pickup time).
The first leg of the journey will take approximately 1.5 hours to the town of Cusipata, where breakfast is scheduled. You’ll have about 30 minutes to enjoy your breakfast, after which you will continue towards the 4 lagoons (Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnacocha, and Pampamarca), stopping at each one to take in the natural beauty.
After enjoying this spectacle, we will head to the historic home of Tupac Amaru II and also make a stop at the area known as “El Pabellón Volcán.”

Finally, we will reach our main destination, the last Inca bridge, Q’eswachaka, where we will witness the living culture of the region and enjoy the stunning views of the Apurímac River Canyon.
We will return to the town of Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch and then retrace our steps back to the city of Cusco, arriving around 17:00-18:00 hours.

Recommendations:

  • We recommend scheduling high-altitude activities towards the end of your itinerary to allow your body to acclimate better during your visit.
  • Don’t forget to bring cash for entrance fees and additional expenses, as well as water and some snacks.
  • Dress in layers to better cope with the changing mountain climate.
  • The best option is to wear specialized walking shoes.
