Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Palcoyo (exclusive)

With this exclusive package you will begin your trip by exploring Cusco Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun, Sacsayhuaman and the city's most important archaeological sites; then the ancestral towns of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes and the archaeological site of Machu Picchu; and finally Palcoyo, the dazzling Rainbow Mountain range.

As arranged in advance, we will meet you at Cusco airport and take you to your assigned hotel in the city. On arrival you will receive personalised assistance from our staff, who will go over your confirmed services and share some very useful tips for your stay.

In the afternoon, at around 13:00, your Cusco city tour will begin, visiting Cusco Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Puca Pucara, with the day's activities wrapping up at around 18:00 in the evening.

Today you will enjoy the classic tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and its impressive attractions. Leaving at around 08:00 in the morning, you will head to the town of Pisaq to explore this magical village, its market and its archaeological complex, which bears witness to the importance of this ancestral town through the ages. Afterwards the tour continues towards Urubamba, where you will have lunch at one of the fantastic restaurants of this picturesque town, capital of the province of the same name. The next stop is the fortress of Ollantaytambo, with its impressive architecture and history, set within an Inca town that still lives on in its charming centuries-old streets.

At the end of this visit our team will drop you off at the train station where, with the specific information provided, you will board the train to the town of Machu Picchu. There, one of our representatives will be waiting to assist you and take you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

With the information provided the night before, you should be ready for your visit to Machu Picchu. You will walk with your guide and group to the bus stop, from where you will set off towards the entrance gate and checkpoint of Machu Picchu. On arrival you will go through the corresponding checks, showing your tickets and passports. Once inside you will follow the assigned circuit, which takes approximately 2 hours, after which you will head back down the same way to have lunch and finally board the return train to Ollantaytambo station.

When you arrive at the station, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Cusco over the following 02 hours.

After picking up the whole group, today's tour will depart at around 05:00 in the morning towards the village of Cusipata, where breakfast will be served. By the time you finish breakfast and cover the remaining stretch to the Palcoyo car park, a little over three and a half hours will have passed. After just 10 minutes, the easy walk along the circuit will reveal the first of the 3 rainbow mountains this fantastic destination has to offer; the next 30 minutes take you to the main viewpoint, from which you can take in the whole landscape, including the 3 rainbow mountains, Ausangate and the stone forest. At this point, depending on how you feel, you can choose to climb up to the stone forest or return to the car park and rest while you wait for the group, who will arrive approximately one hour later.

On the way back you will stop for the scheduled lunch, and afterwards return to Cusco, arriving at an agreed point near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco's historic centre.

On this last day, based on the information you provide us, you will be taken back to Cusco airport two and a half hours before your flight's scheduled departure.

• Plan for your flight to arrive in Cusco early in the day, preferably no later than 11 in the morning.
• Have lunch before starting the Cusco city tour and bring warm clothing for this activity.
• Pack a backpack with the essentials for a night away from the city; remember that the trains have a luggage limit of 8 kilograms per passenger.
• Bring your passports and/or ID documents for your Machu Picchu tour.
• Bring snacks, water and some extra money for your various tours.
